Sweet Rosemary has beautiful blonde hair and deep blue eyes; she's 30 inches tall. WOW! She came with "jewels"! Her earrings, necklace and hair pin were made of imitation pearls and "Oh my gosh!" they all matched. Her lips and fingernails are perfectly painted and her complexion is peaches and cream. She has a one piece body that was made of something new and it was called "miracle skin". This skin was an attempt to imitate human skin. Her head is a medium soft vinyl and her hair is saran.
Sweet Rosemary's dress is made of beautiful pink taffeta satin and the satin is then covered in bountiful layers or tiers of delicate pink lace that has a tiny silver thread woven through it. This lace especially manufactured for these dresses is one of the most beautiful laces that I've ever seen. Her fingerless gloves or gauntlets are made of the same pink and silver lace as the dress. The soft light pink of the dress is accented with a dark pink velvet cumberbun that accentuates her tiny waistline. She's wearing high heel shoes with a silver adornment. This doll is truly a dazzler even after almost fifty years. She's a sister doll to Darling Debbie, Beautiful Gail and Cinderella. The main difference in these dolls were the beautiful elegant costumes.
She carries a darling plastic purse with an embossed design in the plastic and it hangs from a little golden chain. The little purse has a plastic peg snap closure. I've found that it's best not to open these purses if you're lucky enough to get one with the peg snap still working. In some cases the plastic may have become brittle with age and opening and closing it may cause it to break.
This Sweet Rosemary is in excellent condition. Her eyes open and close perfectly. She has a full head of hair although a little flat in back for laying in her box for so long. Her legs are beautiful and smooth. She has a couple of very, very tiny dots on her face; they're so small that they don't show in the photos. The elastic is a little loose on her original high heel shoes, but not bad at all. Her box shows the 50 years of wear, the ends are very sound, although the front has a tear, but It's kept her safe for nearly 50 years!

Fashion Doll 30" Darling Debbie Mint in Box 1957 She's absolutely BEAUTIFUL! She comes with her original box and she's wearing her original clothing and accessories. During the 1950's she was considered to be a fashion doll and in the same league as the "Revlon" fashion dolls. She's so absolutely mint that I don't believe that she's ever been played with; she's so clean, I don't believe she's ever been displayed; the packing cardboard was still in the box and a "old style" plastic bag was over her head and there's even an original sheet of tissue paper. She's in excellent condition. She has beautiful, bright blue eyes that open and close. Her lips are bright and painted beautifully and so are her fingernails. Her hair is Blonde; flat in the back from laying on it for nearly 50 years. Her complexion is peaches and cream. Her beautiful skirted laced Floor Length Gown and matching shawl are exquisite. Her necklace, earrings and hair pin are made of simulated pearls. She's wearing little high heels with a silver ornament. The box is in exceptionally good condition too. She's a sister doll to Sweet Rosemary, Betty the Beautiful Bride, Beautiful Gail and Cinderella. The main difference in these dolls were the beautiful elegant costumes.
